There was one other fish caught which was unfortunately caught just after the final whistle.
Danny Constable was the captor of a lovely conditioned 20lb 2oz Pike which is a new Pb for him and will be entered for the yearly Specimen Pike Cup.
It was a difficult day for most with low and clear water conditions on Barden which made Lure fishing difficult and tonnes of leaves on the river which also made lure fishing difficult. Ian Seamer opted for deadbait tactics on Barden and had a good early response takeing both his fish in quick succession. Ian also missed one and had a dropped run. Larry Howard managed to catch the only fish from the river on a spoon mid morning whilst I persevered with the lures, eventually finding 2 small Fish in the last half hour on the Ballast Pit. Thanks to all that attended and congratulations to Ian Seamer, this years Champion.
